Pudding

I think Iain was a little stuck today when it came to his choice of pudding - ice cream, chocolate or fruit..... so he had them all!

Time off work

Well I suppose I can't really call it time off work, as I have not worked for 3 months now, but everyone loves public holidays. Today we headed to Mount Nebo with Bec, Neil and the boys.

RSL

As a way of integrating ourselves into the Sunshine Coast way of life we decided to join the Caloundra RSL. Whilst I did have some reservations I was pleasantly surprised...not only did it have lots of slot machines (which I won $21 on) it also provided a free bus service to and from your door, so no fighting about who is going to be designated driver now.

Breakfast BBQ

Whilst up at the beach house, we headed to Mooloolaba for a breakfast BBQ. The boys did a great job with the food whilst Chris and my contribution was to walk to the local cafe for coffee!
hmmmmm
yummy!

1 year on

We can hardly believe it but Iain and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary on Sunday. Time has certainly flown by! Thank you to everyone who sent us cards and best wishes.

To celebrate we headed down the coast towards Byron Bay where we stayed in a beautiful house which was built in 1925 and used to be a girls boarding school, there are very few of them of this style left in Australia. On our actual anniversary we spent the day on the beach at Byron Bay and driving round the surrounding area. It is a very picturesque part of the world and we both had a great time.

I wonder what the next 12 months will bring?

Catch Up

It has been a couple of busy weeks since we updated the blog so I am just going to lump everything in one.

We have spent quite a bit of time up at the coast at Caloundra, getting used to where we are going to be living for a while, Iain has been looking for work (whilst I have been doing everything possible to not get myself employed!), we have caught up with Rebecca, Neil and the boys a couple of timeslast night we met with Shane, Janelle and Kristen so I am feeling slightly worse for wear as I type this.
The thing I am most proud of is that we went bowling with Chris and Trevor and as everyone knows, I am REALLY bad at bowling, however I got 122 on my go and wiped the floor with Trevor.... hahahhaha. Iain got 199 so not quite the skittles king of Bundamba yet!
